The Annual Media Summit is a signature event of the Media Council of Kenya, which brings together media practitioners and stakeholders to discuss pertinent issues affecting the media sector and peer review journalistic work.
The Summit, will culminate into the Annual Journalism Excellence Awards (AJEA) Gala Dinner which will recognize and award journalists whose work demonstrate excellence, creativity and journalistic merit. AJEA now in its 8th year, seeks to promote excellence and professionalism in the media industry in Kenya.
The 2019 edition of the Annual Media Summit themed: Media, Accountability and Good Governance will, bring together media managers, editors, journalists , diplomats, governance experts and academicians to discuss and share experiences under the theme. We look forward to engaging sessions on media viability and sustainability in Kenya amongst others.
